Vithal Acharya

Vithal Acharya is a Partner at Stanton Chase Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Singapore. He brings nearly 25 years of extensive leadership experience across diverse sectors, including IT services, engineering and R&D, industrial (power and automotive), SaaS, consumer technology, and power infrastructure.

Most recently, Vithal served as Head of HR at Greaves Electric Mobility, a leading OEM in last-mile smart and sustainable mobility. His tenure focused on integrating three strategic acquisitions and enhancing capabilities across product development (design engineering and sourcing), go-to-market strategies, and corporate functions to drive scalability. At Ola Electric Mobility, he played a key role in organizational design, integration, and leadership hiring, contributing to Ola’s transformation into an automotive OEM for EVs.

At Sterlite Power, Vithal led integration and key leadership hiring during the company’s emergence as an independent integrated power sector organization. He helped craft and institutionalize organizational processes around performance and rewards across multiple business units.

Earlier in his career, Vithal spent over eight years at General Electric, serving in various HR roles across digital, water, and aviation businesses. He partnered closely with business heads to implement key people programs aimed at enhancing capability, leadership, and operational scale.

Vithal holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Mumbai University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur. His professional interests include business strategy, leadership, human resources management, behavioral economics, social psychology, positive psychology, and personality theory and its applications in organizational contexts.
