It is the leading real money skills-based gaming platform in the U.S. The global real money skill games market was $19.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to over $60 billion by 2033. India represents a significant region where real money skills-based gaming has taken off and will continue to grow. This has led to the development of a significant Indian talent base across every functional area of mobile gaming and RMG.

Securing Specialized Gaming Leadership
Skillz was looking to take advantage of this talent base and recruit a General Manager to head up the development, launch, and ongoing P&L management of their global platform, to build out their Bengaluru organization across multiple disciplines, and to ultimately launch Skillz as a competitive platform for real money skills-based gaming in India.

Targeted Search in the Indian Gaming Market
There are four dominant real money games in India: daily fantasy sports dominated by cricket, rummy, poker, and ludo (like Parcheesi), and then all other logic, matching, or bubble-popping games. We identified every Indian real money game company and every individual at these companies who has a product management background and had moved into the general management or profit and loss management of a franchise or revenue stream. These strategies resulted in our outreach to 144 potential candidates, 17 who were interviewed by Stanton Chase and seven interviewed by Skillz.
> The Result
Exceptional Gaming Leadership
We successfully recruited and placed an individual who was the General Manager of the second largest rummy franchise in India. Over his 10-plus years at this real money game company, the placed candidate had begun as a product manager and progressed over multiple promotions to lead their rummy business as their general manager with complete profit and loss management. During this time span, the rummy franchise our placed candidate managed grew from $10 million to $400 million USD.
