In our latest Gamechanger interview, we sat down with one of Microsoft’s top Latin American executives to chat about how technology and workplace culture mix. We talked about what’s actually happening inside Microsoft as they deal with all the AI changes—and how they keep people front and center while doing it.
Microsoft has been around for 50 years, moving through tech waves from PCs to internet, mobile, cloud, and now AI. When Satya Nadella became CEO ten years ago, he brought in a different way of thinking.
“Everything starts with leadership,” Sergio Rademacher told us. The “growth mindset” idea from Carol Dweck became important at Microsoft, pushing back against the idea that our abilities are fixed from birth.
For companies looking to use AI, Sergio suggests focusing on business goals, not just “having an AI strategy.”
“It’s about how AI can help with customers, employees, operations, and products,” he said.
The key is to start small, learn as you go, and build from there.
